Andy Murray has talked down hype of him winning Wimbledon and wants to focus on David Ferrer.

British number one Andy Murray has refused to talk about the prospect of him winning Wimbledon.

The Scot cruised into the quarter-finals of the tournament after defeating Marin Cilic in straight sets on Tuesday.

Despite being in great form, Murray says he is not focussed on winning the title and wants to concentrate on beating David Ferrer in the next round.

"[The title] is so far away, it's not something I'm thinking about. Ferrer is playing the best tennis of his career. I need to play very well," said Murray.

"To me, he's not a clay-court specialist. He won [at 's-Hertogenbosch], so he's won nine matches in a row on the grass.

"He's been in the semi-finals of the Australian Open, US Open and French Open, and now he's starting to play better on grass."

Murray and Ferrer will meet on grass for the first time in the last eight at SW19.
