Andy Murray jokes that he has "no chance" of being ready for Wimbledon after crashing out of Queen's in the second round of the tournament.

British number one Andy Murray has joked that he has "no chance" of being prepared for Wimbledon following his shock exit from Queen's.

The defending champion was knocked out in three sets in the second round of Queen's by Nicolas Mahut, sparking concerns that the Scotsman is not ready for Wimbledon.

"Panic stations," Murray joked. "I've just got no chance to be ready for Wimbledon now. It's going to be impossible, I think.

"It happens often. I mean, [Novak] Djokovic isn't playing the next two weeks, so, I mean, there is no need for me to panic. You know, I lost the match 7-6 in the third in the first round of the tournament. You know, it takes a bit of time to adjust to the grass courts."

The infamous grass-court tournament gets underway on June 25.
