John Isner to rely on "big" serve after reaching third round at Wimbledon

John Isner insists that he will rely on his "big" serve in the third round at Wimbledon after beating Jarkko Nieminen in straight sets.

John Isner has vowed to focus on his serve when he competes in the third round at Wimbledon following victory over Jarkko Nieminen.

The American managed to secure a straight-sets win, but it was hard fought after the first two sets were taken to tie-breaks.

Isner took a one-set lead 19-17 before pushing on to grab a place in the next phase of the Grand Slam at the All England Club

After the match, Isner said: "The first set tie-break was something else. I served big today. I'm going to need that to carry me through the next round."

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal got revenge against Lukas Rosol, who knocked the Spaniard out of Wimbledon two years ago, by beating the Czech in four sets this afternoon.
