David Ferrer: "I'm very happy with my game"

Spain's David Ferrer reveals that he is pleased with the form that he is showing at Wimbledon.

David Ferrer has expressed his happiness at the form he is currently showing at Wimbledon.

The Spaniard ensured that he would be present during the second week at SW19 thanks to a four-set win over Andy Roddick earlier today.

Speaking after that match, Ferrer admitted that he is pleased with his displays in the English capital so far.

"I'm very happy with my game," he told BBC Sport. "I played very consistently and very solidly. It wasn't easy.

"Andy started very well and served with great power. But in the last three sets, I received very well and my forehand was good. I took my chance."

Ferrer will now take on Juan Martin Del Potro for a place in the quarter-finals.
