Kyle Edmund withdraws from Queen's with abdominal injury

British number three Kyle Edmund withdraws from Queen's after failing to recover from an abdominal injury.

Kyle Edmund has been forced to withdraw from Queen's with an abdominal injury.

The 20-year-old, who currently sits at a career-high world ranking of 101, has failed to recover from the same problem that saw him miss out on facing Nick Kyrgios in the French Open second round.

It is currently unknown how long Edmund will be sidelined for, or whether the British number three will be fit for Wimbledon which starts on June 29.

Australia's Thanasi Kokkinakis has taken Edmund's place in the main draw.
