Boris Becker has insisted that Andy Murray was right to withdraw from the upcoming French Open.
The British number one pulled out of the tournament on Tuesday due to his recent struggles with back and hip injuries.
"I've seen him in Rome retiring and I've seen him struggle, physically and mentally, so I think it is a wise decision for him to pull out if he is not feeling well," Becker told ESPN. "He has the big one, Wimbledon, on his mind."
Murray's previous best at the French Open was a semi-final appearance in 2011.
