Davis Cup finalists Great Britain have been given a home draw against Japan in the first round of next year's edition of the tournament.
Led by world number three Andy Murray, GB ended a 37-year wait to be in the final last weekend and victory in November's final away at Belgium would secure the Cup for the first time since 1936.
The draw for the 2016 first round took place in Santiago, Chile last night and Leon Smith's Great Britain got a home tie against Japan, who lost in the first round of this year's competition to Canada, but secured their place in the 2016 World Group with a playoff win over Colombia.
