Andy Murray admits to knowing little about Vincent Millot

Andy Murray admits to knowing very little about Vincent Millot ahead of their meeting in the second round of the Australian Open.

Andy Murray has admitted that he has never seen Vincent Millot play a match ahead of the pair's meeting in the Australian Open second round.

Millot set up the clash by beating Wayne Odesnik in the first round to claim his first victory in a Grand Slam event.

"I know he's left-handed but I haven't played or practised against him before, I haven't seen any of his matches," Murray told reporters.

"I'll try to watch a bit of video of his match to see how he plays. But I'm glad he won."

Murray eased past Go Soeda to qualify for the second round.
