Australia's Lleyton Hewitt has defeated Croatian 13th seed Marin Cilic to reach round three of the men's Olympic singles at Wimbledon.
The former Wimbledon and US Open champion needed just a single break to take the first set from his opponent 6-4.
The 31-year-old caused one of the surprise results of the tournament so far with a 7-5 victory in the second.
Hewitt will meet Novak Djokovic in the next round after the Serbian second seed beat American Andy Roddick in straight sets.
