Sascha Kindred has not confirmed whether or not he will continue competing.

Great Britain's S6 swimmer, who has 11 Paralympics medals to his name, refused to confirm his retirement after being disqualified in the 50m freestyle final.

Kindred's future has been subject to much speculation, with many believing the London Paralympics to be his last Games. However Kindred did not rule out the possibility of continuing.

"I want to say thank you to everyone who's been a part of my team, everyone who has supported me over the years," Kindred said.

"I hope everyone is proud of what we've done. I'm going to go and reflect on what I've done. I can't comment [on my future] right now."

China's Xu Qing won the race in world record time.
