Great Britain's mixed 4x100m medley relay team have described their silver medal at the European Games as "special", despite once again missing out to the Russians this evening.
The team of Luke Greenbank, Charlie Attwood, Amelia Clynes and Georgia Coates recorded a time of 3:52.03 at the Baku Aquatics Centre, finishing 2.5 seconds off the pace set by the gold medallists.
The medal continues Team GB's record of having secured a podium spot in every relay event so far at the European Games, while it was their fourth of another successful day in the pool.
Shortly after the event, Sports Mole caught up with the team to discuss their performance and the prospect of closing the gap on the Russians.

Congratulations guys, how are you feeling after that silver?
Greenbank: "Yeah, brilliant. It's always special getting medals in relays, especially with these guys. Mixed medley is a great event as well because it's so different than expected and it's very tactical. I think we're all pleased."
You were beaten by the Russians again - what is that rivalry like for you?
Clynes: "One day we'll get them!"
You had a sizeable lead at one point having sent the two boys out first - do you think you got the tactics right today?
Attwood: "I don't think there was anything wrong with our tactics involved. It's always going to be like that. It's probably the most tactical race there is now. But yeah, I think we're happy."
You also changed your entire team from the heats to the final - does that affect anything?
Greenbank: "The guys in the heat did a really good job getting us to the final, and I think they'll be pleased as well."
Luke, you won gold in the men's 200m backstroke earlier - what were your thoughts on that performance?
Greenbank: "Yeah, it's brilliant. Just seeing the time up on the board - a World Junior record is something special, so I'm really really pleased."
How does medalling in a team like this compare to doing it individually?
Greenbank: "I really like winning relay medals. I love winning individual medals but relay medals are always something special."
Amelia, you also won a silver in the women's 100m butterfly earlier - how does this one compare?
Clynes: "I think they're both the same for different reasons - it's obviously great to get individual because all your hard work in training has paid off, but then to get one with such a great team and then to think you've helped them along to get a medal, it makes you feel [good]."
