Nick Matthew retains the Swedish Open title by beating France's Gregory Gaultier 3-0 in 63 minutes.

Nick Matthew has retained the Swedish Open title by securing a 3-0 victory over France's Gregory Gaultier at the weekend.

The 34-year-old, who was England's flagbearer at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games last year, sealed an 11-9 11-8 11-7 triumph.

"I always seem to play really well here in Sweden," BBC Sport quotes Matthew as saying. "It's a great venue and the people here really appreciate what we do."

The world number three took home the trophy in 63 minutes.
