Laura Massaro has insisted that the "unbelievable" team spirit within the England women's camp helped them clinch World Team Squash Championship glory over Malaysia.
Massaro succumbed to defeat in her match against Nicol David, but victories from Sarah Jane Perry and Alison Waters pushed England to an overall 2-1 triumph in Canada.
"This has been an amazing event from every point of view and thanks to Squash Canada for doing such a great job," the Lancashire Evening Post quotes Massaro as saying.
"There's been an unbelievable team spirit in the England camp this week, and I honestly believe that is what has made the difference."
Massaro is ranked number two in the world.
