Laura Massaro has admitted that she and doubles partner Jenny Duncalf are playing their best squash since Delhi 2010 at the Commonwealth Games.
The England pair beat Australia's Lisa Camilleri and Donna Urquhart to qualify for the semi-finals, where they will face teammates Emma Beddoes and Alison Waters.
"I felt like we were sharp from the beginning," she told reporters. "It is a bit nerve wracking at the knockout stages compared to the pools and you are aware you need to perform from the beginning, so I was really chuffed with how we started and finished.
"That's probably the best we've played since Delhi, we've always said when the medals get on it, we'd bring our best game out and that was good."
Massaro lost to world number one Nicol David in the final of the women's singles in Glasgow.
