Serbia's Ivana Jandric has won a thrilling final against Volha Namazava of Belarus to clinch gold in the women's sambo -68kg at the European Games.
After coming through her first two tests with 4-0 wins, Jandric was forced to produce her best in the final with two hold-down points to survive the challenge from Namazava and earn a 2-0 victory.
Olga Zakhartsova, who lost to Jandric in the semi-finals, added another medal to Russia's impressive tally in Baku by beating Romania's Natalia Repesco 4-0 in her bronze-medal match.
There was also bronze for France's Celine Conde after she delivered a dominant display to beat Narmina Alizada 4-0 and end Azerbaijan's hopes of a medal in the event.
