Adam Jones and Jonathan Davies will miss Wales's remaining three Autumn Tests against Argentina, Tonga and Australia because of injury.
Both men suffered injuries during Saturday's 24-15 loss to South Africa.
Prop Jones sustained a calf problem, while centre Davies tore a pectoral muscle.
Davies, who was today announced as a Clermont Auvergne player after moving from the Scarlets, is set for an operation later this week and could be out of action for up to four months, making him a doubt for the start of the Six Nations.
Coach Warren Gatland will name his squad Thursday to face Argentina at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.
