Saracens sign former Northampton Saints hooker Brett Sharman

Saracens bring in former Northampton Saints and Bath hooker Brett Sharman on a deal until the end of the season.

Saracens have signed former Northampton Saints and Bath hooker Brett Sharman until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has been brought to Allianz Park as a replacement for the injured Schalk Brits.

Sharman, whose career has recently been disrupted by a serious knee problem, last played in the Aviva Premiership two years ago.

"Brett has plenty of Premiership experience and we believe he will fit in to our environment extremely well," Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall told the club's official website.

Sarries are back in action on Friday when they travel to Ospreys in the LV= Cup.
