London Wasps run out 35-18 winners over Newcastle Falcons in the Premiership this afternoon.

Tom Varndell and James Gaskell scored first-half tries for the home side, before the Falcons hit back when Ruki Tipuna went over shortly before the end of the first period.

Andy Goode, who hit a hat-trick of penalties, claimed two first-half conversions, before Rob Miller hit another 10 minutes into the second period.

Varndell went over the line 15 minutes into the second period for his second try of the day before Miller added to the score with a try of his own with 10 minutes to go.
