Ireland hooker Rory Best has been ruled out of Saturday's Test against South Africa with a calf injury.
It was revealed earlier in the week that 32-year-old was struggling to be fit for the match in Dublin.
However, it has now been confirmed that the veteran forward will not be involved.
Leinster's Sean Cronin is expected to replace Best in Ireland's starting XV for the visit of the Springboks.
