The hosts were reduced to 14-men early on when Danny Care was shown a yellow card.
A Toby Flood penalty opened the scoring after 19 minutes. First-half tries from Charlie Sharples, Ugo Monye and a penalty try went on to give England a 25-0 lead at the break.
Tom Johnson continued the rout after the break before Fiji got off the mark with a try in the 53rd minute.
A further try from Sharples and a Mani Tuilagi brace put England 49 points up with five minutes remaining, before Sekonaia Kalou scored Fiji's consolatory second try.
