Hull's Joe Arundel to miss Challenge Cup final with hand injury

Hull centre Joe Arundel is expected to miss Saturday's Challenge Cup final against Wigan Warriors with a hand injury.

Hull centre Joe Arundel is expected to be absent for this weekend's Challenge Cup final against Wigan Warriors due to a hand injury.

The 21-year-old, who suffered the problem during last week's victory over Salford, has not officially been ruled out by the club, but is expected to have surgery today.

Arundel wrote on Twitter: "To all people asking I fractured my hand Friday and will be getting an op today to fix it. Thanks for all the support! #Gutted"

Meanwhile, Hull's Saturday opponents Wigan have extended the stay of head coach Shaun Wane.
