Tony McCoy to be given TV role?

A report claims that Channel 4 are hoping to secure the services of Tony McCoy as a pundit.

Retired jockey Tony McCoy could reportedly return to racing sooner than expected with broadcaster Channel 4.

The 40-year-old called time on his career, during which he saddled 4,348 winners, at Sandown Park on Saturday afternoon.

He said after his final race that he did not know what the future had in store, but he is to be offered the chance to share his expertise with the Channel 4 viewers, according to The Mirror.

A switch into television would see McCoy link up with his friend and former jockey Mick Fitzgerald.
