AP McCoy rides into the sunset with the final two races of his record-breaking career at Sandown this afternoon.
The 40-year-old, who announced his intention to retire in February, saddles Mr Mole at 3.15pm before he bows out on Box Office at 4.25pm.
Champion jump jockey McCoy will be honoured with the trophy that he has won 20 times being retired to him permanently.
McCoy, who has ridden over 4,300 winners in his 16,000 plus outings, is the only man to have ever won the prize, putting him on top of the sport for 1040 successive weeks.
The Northern Irishman won the Cheltenham Gold Cup aboard Mr Mulligan in 1997 and again on Synchronised in 2012, two years after he ended his long wait for a Grand National success with Don't Push It.
