A Tottenham Hotspur supporter has admitted that he was the man accidentally heard over Bournemouth's tannoy system saying that the result at the Vitality Stadium was "fucking unbelievable".

In the final few minutes of Spurs' 5-1 rout over the Cherries on Sunday, some radio interference occurred and a man could be heard making the expletive and saying "men against boys".

The gaffe went viral on social media, and a man from Tottenham fan website Spurred On TV later admitted that his broadcast from outside of the stadium accidentally got onto the same frequency as the PA system.

There were suspicions that Bournemouth's own stadium announcer made the comments, but the Spurs fan wanted to make sure that the individual was not wrongly punished.
