Irina Shayk's camp have confirmed that she and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo have ended their five-year relationship.
Rumours that the couple had parted ways circulated after the Russian model was absent from the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Switzerland last week.
After Ronaldo scooped his third FIFA title, he failed to mention his girlfriend in his acceptance speech.
Shayk's representative told the New York Post: "We can confirm that Irina Shayk has ended her relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo."
A Portugal newspaper reported that the couple split after Shayk refused to attend the 60th birthday party of Ronaldo's mother, whom the footballer has a close relationship with.
However, the model's representative has quashed the rumours by stating: "She has been very close to his family throughout their relationship. Any negative rumours about Irina and Ronaldo's family are completely false and have not been a factor in the cause of the split. Irina has no comments at the moment."
Ronaldo has not yet commented on the split.
