Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly split with his partner of four years, Irina Shayk.

Rumours of a break-up gathered pace earlier this week when the Russian model missed the Ballon d'Or ceremony, where Ronaldo claimed the top prize once more.

The Real Madrid attacker also failed to mention her in his acceptance speech, while, according to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old has unfollowed the Portuguese superstar on Twitter.

The pair have been together for the past four years, but it is understood that Shayk, who reportedly recently fell out with Ronaldo's mother, has called off their relationship for reasons that are currently unknown.

There has been no comment from either party as yet.
