David Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn reportedly opts to give Thanksgiving presents to the homeless this month as opposed to receiving gifts from his parents.

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has reportedly been asked by his eldest son Brooklyn not to give him pocket money or presents for Thanksgiving this year.

The 13-year-old is believed to have told his parents that he wants to donate money and gifts to the homeless in LA during the American annual holiday.

"Brooklyn told his mum and dad that he didn't want to receive presents for Thanksgiving this year," said a source, according to the Daily Star. "He said instead he'd like to donate them to people who need them more.

"Brooklyn asked one of the family bodyguards to take him to a Rite Aid store in Los Angeles so he could buy some first-aid kits to put in the charity parcels."

Reports have claimed that Brooklyn has convinced his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz to do the same.
