Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has been spotted sitting courtside watching the LA Lakers play at the Staples Centre.
The 37-year-old, who was on his own at the game, witnessed the Lakers lose to San Antonio Spurs but the former England captain was on hand to give some encouragement to the players following the loss.
Beckham joked with Lakers star Dwight Howard at the end of the contest and also spoke a few words with San Antonio point guard Tony Parker.
Beckham, who usually attends the games with his sons, appeared to be trying to avoid getting photographed looking at the Lakers cheerleaders during their performances.
