The woman accused of having a late-night romp with Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly denied sleeping with the Frenchman.

The married Gunners star has been dogged by rumours surrounding his activity off the pitch following newspaper claims that he had spent time with model Celia Kay in a hotel room.

Following the reports, Giroud apologised via Twitter to his wife, family, friends and teammates.

However, the Frenchman took to the social networking website again this week to insist that he never "committed adultery".

Celia Kay has also taken to social media by tweeting: "Obviously no one knows how to read lol – check your sources idiots as it's been reported we did NOT sleep together."

The model reiterated her position with an Instagram picture, along with the message: "You think you know but you have no idea... 😉😘 #fabrication."
