Valentino Rossi wins Dutch MotoGP

Championship leader Valentino Rossi wins the Dutch MotoGP, a second ahead of Marc Marquez.

Valentino Rossi has increased his MotoGP Championship lead to 10 points after winning the Dutch Grand Prix.

Rossi duelled with Marc Marquez throughout the race, and overtook him on the last corner to claim victory.

The Italian led for most of the race but Marquez overtook him with seven laps remaining. Rossi retook the lead with three laps left but was clipped by Marquez on the last corner.

That forced Rossi to cut the final corner but he was able to maintain control of his bike to secure the win.

Jorge Lorenzo, who had won the previous four MotoGPs, finished third, 13 seconds behind the leaders.
