Denmark's Thomas Bjorn pulls out of next week's US Open due to neck and shoulder injuries.

Denmark's Thomas Bjorn has pulled out of next week's US Open after suffering from neck and shoulder injuries.

The 43-year-old will not feature at Pinehurst following the sustained injuries, despite showing impressive form recently.

Bjorn held a five-shot lead at the PGA Championship at Wentworth in May.

Richard Sterne, 32, and Tiger Woods have also pulled out of the competition.
