Tiger Woods has admitted that he is making little progress in his recovery from injury and has no idea when he will return to competitive action.
The 14-time Major winner has not played since March after opting to undergo surgery to address a niggling back problem that forced him to miss The Masters.
The US Open next month is looking an unlikely target too, with the American confessing that he is still unable to complete a full swing, and that he will wait until his doctors clear him to get back on the course.
"As of right now I can chip and putt. I don't know how much longer it will take before I can do more," Woods told reporters.
"As far as full swings and the timing on that, I don't know. Really there is no timetable. That has been the real question through all this. There is no date.
"It's not up to me. It's not going to be up to me if I play. It's up to my doctors."
Woods was usurped as world number one by Australian Adam Scott this week.
