David Toms, John Rollins lead the way in Sanderson Farms Championship

David Toms and John Rollins lead the way in the Sanderson Farms Championship after both carded a second-round 66 on a day when play was suspended late on due to darkness.

David Toms and John Rollins both shot a 66 at the Sanderson Farms Championship on Friday to take a share of the lead into the weekend.

Toms sank six birdies in a bogey-free second round in Jackson, Mississippi today to head into Saturday as co-leader on 10-under-par.

It was a little less straightforward for Rollins, who picked up two bogeys, but the American compensated for those blemishes by carding two more birdies - eight overall - to join his compatriot at the summit.

The duo boast a two-stroke lead over Canada's Nick Taylor, who shot 69 to finish the day on eight-under, one shot clear of Tom Gillis and Robert Streb in a two-way tie for third.

A number of players did not get to complete their round after play was suspended due to fading light in the latter stages of the session.

Oscar Fraustro and Fabian Gomez ended their day on six-under, along with five other players who completed their round, on holes 17 and 15 respectively.

Round two will resume at 1.40pm GMT tomorrow, while round three begins 70 minutes later.
