Thomas Bjorn leads World Cup of Golf

Denmark's Thomas Bjorn leads by one shot at the halfway stage of the World Cup of Golf in Melbourne.

Thomas Bjorn has recorded a second-round 68 to lead the World Cup of Golf by one shot.

The Dane recorded five birdies during Friday's play in Melbourne to open up a slender advantage over American Kevin Streelman, who ended the day on seven-under-par after a round of 69.

Australia's Jason Day and Portugal's Ricardo Santos remained in contention on four-under, while Stuart Manley and Martin Laird were a shot further adrift on three-under.

England's Danny Willett currently sits in 15th position on level-par, but teammate Chris Wood is 20 places further down the leaderboard in 35th place.

In the team event, Denmark, who comprise of Bjorn and Thorbjorn Olesen, lead Australia and Japan by four shots.
