Continental Europe lead Great Britain & Ireland by one point in Seve Trophy

Continental Europe take a one-point lead over Great Britain and Ireland after the second round of the Seve Trophy.

Continental Europe have edged into a one-point lead in the Seve Trophy, while Great Britain and Ireland won Friday's fourballs 3-2.

Nicolas Colsaerts and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano managed to restore Europe's lead by seeing off Paul Lawrie and Stephen Gallacher 6&5, before an impressive start from GB and Ireland.

Paul Caset and Simon Khan defeated Mikko Ilonen and Thorbjorn Olesen, while David Lynn and Scott Jamieson produced wins in the second match against Francesco Molinari and Matteo Manassero.

Jamie Donaldson and Marc Warren also picked up wins in game three, while Joost Luiten and Gregory Bourdy edged out Tommy Fleetwood and Chris Wood in the final match.
