Martin Kaymer, Sergio Garcia, Marcus Fraser and Ricardo Santos are in a four-way tie at the top of the leaderboard in the Qatar Masters after round two.

Kaymer and Fraser are matched after they both carded a five-under 67 in the Middle East, while Garcia stormed to the top by shooting six birdies and finishing the day on 66.

Portugal's Santos is also in contention with an overall nine-under following a score of 70 in round two in Doha.

Meanwhile last year's winner Paul Lawrie failed to make the cut when he suffered a four-putt double bogey on the 15th hole.
