Nicolas Colsaerts and Bill Haas have taken a shared lead in the Nedbank Golf Challenge after round one in South Africa.
Haas set the pace by securing four-under-par with three holes left to go but the American shot bogeys at the 16th and 18th holes, which allowed Belgian Colsaerts to launch an attack.
The 30-year-old claimed two birdies on the back nine, which helped push him to a shared score with Haas of two-under 70 heading into the second round.
Meanwhile, defending champion Lee Westwood sits in joint-third place with Paul Lawrie and Louis Oosthuizen all on one-under-par, while Justin Rose is four shots off the lead.
