Red Bull have confirmed that chief technical officer Adrian Newey has agreed a new multi-year deal with the Formula 1 team.
The 55-year-old Brit, who joined Red Bull in 2006, has been credited with playing a big part in the outfit's success in recent years.
Newey had been linked with a move away from the team during the past few months, but he has now agreed to remain at Red Bull.
"Red Bull is pleased to confirm that it has extended its successful relationship with Adrian Newey with a new multi-year agreement," read an official statement.
"As part of this new agreement, Adrian will work on new Red Bull Technology projects, as well as advising and mentoring Infiniti Red Bull Racing as it develops its Formula One cars over the next few seasons. The details of the new projects will be announced in due course."
Newey worked for both Williams and McLaren before teaming up with Red Bull eight years ago.
