Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Dean Saunders has admitted that he is likely to lose a number of players if the club are relegated to League One on Saturday afternoon.
Failure to beat Brighton & Hove Albion will confirm demotion for Saunders's team, while even a victory may not be enough if other results go against them.
"I would imagine a lot of the players won't want to stay. They won't want to be playing in League One, so if that happens, we'll talk about it," Saunders is quoted as saying by the Express & Star. "Once we get through this week and get to the end of the season, we'll probably have a meeting – myself, Jez (Moxey, chief executive) and the chairman – we'll draw a plan up.
"Whether we're in the Championship or League One, we'll draw a plan up to make the club great again. That's what I want to do, but if we don't stay in the Championship, it will just take me a bit longer to do it."
Saunders took control at Molineux in January this year.
