Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has extended his stay at Molineux by signing a new three-year contract at the newly-promoted Championship club.
The 28-year-old, who had one year remaining on his previous deal, helped keep 25 clean sheets in Wolves' successful League One campaign last season.
"I'm delighted to have agreed a new deal," Ikeme told the club's official website. "Talks had taken place towards the back end of last season and then over the summer and I'm happy to be back here on the first day of pre-season signing the contract.
"It gives me the opportunity to concentrate purely on my football now with another really important season coming up. I've been at Wolves for a long time and certainly didn't want to leave and now I'm very excited about what is going to happen in the future."
Ikeme, who has been a Wolves player for his entire career so far, made his senior debut in 2003 before gaining experience through various loan stints.
