Uwe Rosler impressed with Leicester City display

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler believes that his side's 2-2 draw with Leicester City was "one of the best games" that he had witnessed in the division all season.

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler has revealed that he was impressed by his team's efforts against table-topping Leicester City on Tuesday evening.

The Latics conceded an equaliser three minutes from time to draw 2-2 with the Foxes, but Rosler has taken the positives from a result against a team that he believes will secure promotion to the Premier League.

The 45-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "There's no question in my mind that Leicester will go up. I think if we continue like this, we will end up in the playoffs.

"That was one of the best games that I've seen in the Championship this season, I think two quality teams played each other and both were here to win.

"I felt that the intensity and the tempo was very high. One of the reasons why Leicester are up there is they play a very high pressing game. They are an intense, very fit team and we matched that today over 90 minutes."

Wigan's point extends their advantage over seventh place to six points.
