West Ham United have reportedly identified Brentford striker Ivan Toney as a possible summer signing.
The 24-year-old has been in excellent form for the new Championship leaders during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 23 times and registering nine assists in 28 league appearances.
Toney has struck seven times in his last four outings in the second tier of English football, including a goal in Wednesday evening's 3-1 win at Reading.
According to Eurosport, West Ham are ready to explore the possibility of bringing the Englishman to the London Stadium as a replacement for Sebastian Haller, who departed in January.
Toney failed to make the grade at Newcastle United but scored 49 goals in 94 appearances for Peterborough United before moving to Brentford last October.
The attacker penned a five-year deal with Thomas Frank's side upon his arrival.
