Besiktas midfielder Tolgay Arslan is the subject of a £5m bid from West Ham United, according to reports.
The 24-year-old started his career with Borussia Dortmund, before joining the Turkish side from Hamburger SV in January.
Arslan played under new West Ham boss Slaven Bilic at Besiktas, and Croatian manager is keen to bring the player to Upton Park, reports Turkish newspaper Fanatik.
However, the Hammers face competition for the Germany Under-21 international from unnamed German and Italian sides, the newspaper adds.
