West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce is reportedly considering making a January bid for Derby County right-back John Brayford.
The 24-year-old has played in every minute of the Rams' Championship campaign and has been closely watched by Hammers scouts in recent weeks.
Derby boss Nigel Clough has been told that he needs to raise funds in the next transfer window and, according to The Mirror, he would be willing to sell Brayford if it meant that he were able to hold on to teenage star Will Hughes.
Brayford's current contract expires at the end of the season.
