West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has revealed that he expects at least five new signings to join the club this summer.
The Hammers slipped down to 11th place in the Premier League table on the weekend with a 2-1 defeat at home to Everton.
With just two wins in their last 15 matches, Gold has suggested that there will be significant changes among the playing staff at Upton Park at the end of the season.
He tweeted: "I'm optimistic for next season. Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and James Tomkins back plus at least five new faces."
West Ham finish their Premier League campaign this Sunday when they take on Newcastle United at St James' Park.
