West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has said that the club wishes Kevin Nolan well after the midfielder's exit from Upton Park.
The 33-year-old has left the club by mutual consent after four years with the Hammers, during which time he captained the side and helped them to win promotion back to the Premier League.
Nolan scored 31 goals in 157 games during his time at West Ham.
"Kevin Nolan has left the club today. We wish him well in his future endeared," Gold wrote on Twitter.
"Kevin Nolan helped lead us out of a difficult time at West Ham. I want to thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future."
Nolan has also played for Bolton Wanderers and Newcastle United during his career.
