Slaven Bilic: 'I'm not replacing Sam Allardyce at West Ham United'

Slaven Bilic rules himself out of the running to replace soon to be out of contract Sam Allardyce at West Ham United.

Former Croatia boss Slaven Bilic has rubbished speculation linking him with replacing Sam Allardyce at West Ham United this summer.

The Hammers' hierachy has reportedly identified the Besiktas coach as a candidate to succeed Allardyce, whose contract expires in the coming months.

However, Bilic, who spent a year at Upton Park as a player until 1997, admits that he is baffled over the rumours linking him with a return.

"I do not know who keeps spreading the West Ham link but I can tell you I am not in talks with the club," he told Turkish website Fanatik.

"My future will be decided at the end of the season with Besiktas. I am very pleased with the work I do, and think I do my job well. I have not received an offer from anyone."

David Moyes and former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez are also said to be in the frame.
