West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce applauded the performance of his goalkeeper Robert Green after their 2-0 victory over Hull.
Goals from Sam Baldock and Jack Collison earned the Hammers a hard-fought victory, but they were reliant on the heroics of Green, who denied the Tigers on several occasions.
"He's got great stature and ability between the posts and at the moment he looks pretty impregnable," said Allardyce. "He looks like he's going to save everything and although Hull worked us hard, Robert was there to stop them.
"The difference between us and Hull was that we were clinical at one end and our goalkeeper produced excellent saves at the other end."
Allardyce recently called on Fabio Capello to recall the stopper to the England squad ahead of the European Championships this summer.
Green has only recently returned to the Hammers side following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
