West Ham United striker Andy Carroll 'out for four to six weeks'

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll is reportedly due to be out of action for four to six weeks due to a hamstring injury suffered against Bournemouth on Tuesday.

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll is reportedly expected to be on the sidelines for between four to six weeks after suffering a hamstring injury on Tuesday night.

The 27-year-old lasted just 12 minutes of the Hammers' 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Carroll seemed to have put his injury woes behind him when he scored in back-to-back victories over Southampton and Liverpool in the Premier League, but according to The Mirror, the striker is likely to be out for over a month.

An official timeline is yet to be confirmed by the club as he is due to have a scan today.
