West Bromwich Albion fail with Matt Phillips bid?

Queens Park Rangers reportedly reject a bid from West Bromwich Albion for winger Matt Phillips.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly failed with a bid for Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips.

It is understood that the Baggies made a £5m offer for the 24-year-old, who joined QPR from Blackpool in 2013.

However, negotiations are still ongoing between both clubs, according to Sky Sports News.

Phillips scored three goals in 27 appearances for the R's last season.

West Brom are due to fly out to the USA next week for their second pre-season tour.
